Students will have a painting that tells a story

Students will be re-taught and can utilized videos to re-work missing elements of their assignment.

The thought process that is involved to help create better art. 
Teks: 117.C Creative expression. The student communicates ideas through original artworks using a variety of media with appropriate skills. The student expresses thoughts and ideas creatively while challenging the imagination, fostering reflective thinking, and developing disciplined effort and progressive problem-solving skills. The student is expected to: (A) create original artwork using multiple solutions from direct observation, original sources, experiences, and imagination in order to expand personal themes that demonstrate artistic intent; (B) apply design skills in creating practical applications, clarifying presentations, and examining consumer choices in order to make successful design decisions;​
​Think about where you lived growing up:
 
Maybe it was happy/comfortable
Maybe it was sad/hard/difficult
Include your address
Was it a House/trailer/apt
What was it made of?
Bricks?  wood?
What color was it?
Stairs?  railing?
Who lived there with you?
Who took care of you?
Was it rural/urban
Bicycle/wagon/cart/skateboard
How did you get around
Names of friends
What were surroundings like?
Sirens?  cars?  quiet?
Was there grass around?
A place to play?
Was there a forest?
What was the weather like?
Do you remember a particular season?
What was the favorite season/weather?
 
If that helped shape you into what you are, do an artwork based on this place. Create an artwork based on this time, location, etc.  Include the address, time, place, or mood. The art piece should identify you then and now. Are the colors the same? How have you changed? Think about your past and present and your personality. Interweave your thoughts and ideas. You may use multiple items/mediums.
