Color wheel assignment:

Using the circle provided, fold the circle in half, open it and fold it in half again. Open the circle up and use your ruler and create a line along the seam.  you should have a vertical line and a horizontal line. Using the center dot where the the two lines intersect line your ruler up and create two more lines creating different sections.
I will demonstrate this step.
You can draw any design you wish as long as it is intricate and is not from another artist so no sponge bob or trademarked cartoon or logo.

Essential question: What is color and how is it used in art?
How will we know if they’ve learned it?
Students will complete a color wheel that is of their own making
What will we do if they don’t learn it?
Students will be re-taught
What will we do if they have / have already learned?
Only use the primary colors to create the compliments.
My students understand and can… by the end of the lesson
Understand the color wheel and how it works in
